About Jamie:

Raised in Spruce Grove, Jamie split her time between school, competing as a junior golfer, riding horses, and working at the family’s local business, Peter’s Pizza.

Jamie attended the University of Alberta where she received a BA in Political Science after graduating from Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain.

In 2008, Jamie earned a Diploma in Public Relations from MacEwan University.

Jamie returned to Alberta in 2013 where she worked in the private sector until moving into the Premier Prentice’s Office as a policy manager.

In 2015, Jamie rejoined the Conservative Party as the Alberta Regional Organizer and Target Seat Manager during the 2015 General Election.

Jamie is married to Jonah, her husband of 3 years. The two met in 2009 while Jamie worked in Stephen Harper’s Prime Minister Office. On February 14, 2016 Jamie gave birth to their son, Benjamin. When Jamie isn’t fighting the Liberals, she enjoys traveling, walking her dog, Golda, playing golf and spending time with her family.

 

Proven experience:

Jamie entered politics at an early age as a summer intern for Stan Woloshyn, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Stony Plain. Jamie moved into federal politics working for Mike Lake after leaving Stan’s office.

In 2008, Jamie earned a prestigious internship at Stephen Harper’s Prime Minister Office. While in Ottawa, Jamie’s work ethic and campaign expertise led to a full-time job in the Prime Minister’s Office and then at Conservative Party of Canada headquarters where she held key roles in successfully re-electing Stephen Harper’s Conservative government in 2008 and 2011.

Jamie returned to Alberta in 2013 where she worked in the private sector until moving into the Premier Prentice’s Office as a policy manager.
